Natasha LaGrone is an actress, theatre company program facilitator, radio/media personality, and a motivational speaker. She can be heard weekly at 1420 AM WFLT and seen teaching Flint area youth as a workshop facilitator at the Shop Floor Theatre Company.

 

In addition to her work in arts and entertainment, Natasha has worked for the Obama Administration as a White House intern and Presidential Appointee at the Department of Commerce in Public Affairs.

 

As an actress she has had the pleasure of working with Viacom, Take One Entertainment, Shop Floor Theatre Company, The Flint Youth Theatre and DC Black Theatre Festival. Natasha has worked on television production teams for BET Networks, Ken Ehrlich Productions – AEG and WETA TV. 

 

Natasha is a proud native of Flint, MI, since her return to prepare for graduate studies she has been able to use theatre and film to create content that allows art to be used as a transformative tool for youth and members of her community. Her work has created dialogue and action steps to address health care, low wages and unemployment, bullying and self-identity. She is inspired to act and tell compelling stories because she knows the impact her work leaves on the heart.
